Along Highway 101 just south of the town of Bandon, there is a large outdoor display of what is known as chainsaw sculpting. In this land of lumberjacks and huge trees, chainsaw carving has grown into an art form and some of the pieces are truly fantastic! Popular subjects include Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch) and space aliens as well as mythical figures, but there are also more traditional subjects of fish, eagles, bears that are beautifully carved.
I kind of wish I had taken more time to photograph some of these.

UBER to Salvage Station Event.
The crew of the Louisville, New Albany & Corydon always carries a chainsaw on the walkway of LNAC CS9 #86, a re-engined ALCo S4, and the reason is clear. Approximately 6 miles north of its home base at the Lucas Oil plant in Corydon, IN, the train is approaching Corydon Junction at New Salisbury, where the shortline interchanges with Norfolk Southern.

I took this shot in Winthrop, Washington on August 3rd 2023, and I went through there again on September 20th 2023 it was still hard to find a parking spot. Probably one of the busiest small towns in America.
This was built for the Iron Forgery contest that Simon started, hence the nonexistent part in the middle. Scaling and angling that thing to correspond with the mecabricks model was a pain.
