October 10, it was the 5th Anniversary of my dear Kashmir’s death.
Cha came to my home with a little Kashmir from the local cat-caregiver, Mrs. N's shelter in September 2014.
Until Kash crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Cha had taken care of him very well.
He might be the best brother in Kash's just four months of life.
Everytime I give the Water of the Offering, he takes a look at picture of Kash before licking the water (at least I understand his behavior that way).
10日はカシミアの5年目の命日でした。
ちゃーを公園で捕まえてくれたボランティアのNさんが、ちゃーと一緒にカシミアをウチに連れてきてくれました。
カシミアが逝ってしまうまで、ちゃーはずっと面倒を見ていました。カシミアにとって、わずか4ヶ月の人生で最高の兄貴でした。
いつも私たちがお供え水を持っていくと、ちゃーが飲みにきます。飲む前にじっとカシミアの写真を見ているように思えるのです。

Cha is a mini truck (3 wheeler) driver that we happened to flag for a ride in Nakhon Phanom. After reaching the destination I told him that I lived in NKP as an Air Force airman in 1971-72. He gave me his card said to give him a call and he would take my wife and me to the location of the former airbase.
The base was completly dismantled except for the airstrip, which was turned into the Nakhon Phanom Airport. Parallel to the airport, going off of the airport access road were many crumbling asphalt lanes disappearing into the jungle. Ya spent about a half hour bashing through brush, downed trees and many pot holes. There wasn't anything recognizable in that setting as an AFB base, other than a lot of concrete foundations and a few small building in various states of decay.
On a side note Ya showed us a video clip of him driving and crashing a 3 wheeled produce truck. It was from a portion of a Viet Nam war movie of which that part was filmed in NKP. It was a movie shot 30 years ago titled "Heaven and Earth" starring Tommy Lee Jones and Hiep Thi Le.
He also talked the security guards into letting us on the flight line and into this hanger that is part of Nakhon Phanom Universitiy's aviation department. They agreed to it because this is exactly the part of the base where I worked 51 years ago.
Não deu para tirar todas as fotos que gostaria, porque né... estava meio que "a trabalho" (fiquei muito feliz com a recepção das minhas coisinha - posso dizer que não tive muito tempo livre, porque sempre tinha alguém para atender - quer coisa melhor pra quem tá vendendo?!?! \o/ ); a parte chata disso é que não pude socializar muito, sair para conversar, conhecer as pessoas, as dolls, tem pessoas que estavam no chá, mas nem conseguir falar direito |Y_________Y
Outra coisa é cheguei a conclusão que estou mesmo precisando de um level up nas minhas skills fotográficas... só consigo fotos legais em ambientes que me são familiares, ou muita luz natural.... a maioria das minhas fotos não prestaram.... essas foram as que salvei .....
Acho que não tenho algumas pessoas nos contatos, por favor, se marquem nas fotos ;-)
Não poderia faltar Foto dos filhotes da Driuks!! Tirei uma foto do grupo completo mas não prestou - toda borrada Y______________Y E como eu já imagina, Driuks é uma das pessoas mais ninja, mais louca, mais alto-astral, mais rock n' roll do mundo @___@ Huahauhauhahua, não vou esquecer as fotos dos caras que ganham do Agne, acho que até sonhei com aquela vitrine acredita?!? @_@

I had never talked about religion with Cha, but we held the funeral for him in Buddhist way.

On new year's day and thanksgiving day morning, we have Cha-rye.
It is a kind of memorial ceremony to our ancestors, especially grand parents and parents(if they are not with us any longer).
Setting a big table with many foods, we take a big bow.
Taking a bow to "ghosts" seems superstitious but it's not. It's about sharing memories and happiness of the family.
All the sincere prrocess during Cha-rye is maybe not for my grand parents. It's maybe for us.

Domingo teve um mega encontrinho o Chá de Boneca.
Eu curti muito o evento, pude conhecer colecionadores de varios lugares, tudo gente boa XD
E também ver dolls lindas.
Me diverti pra caramba e não vejo a hora da próxima edição, quem sabe eu crio coragem e levo o meninão no proximo.
