Tijdens het Paasweekend verbleef ik een nachtje in het Waalse plaatsje Poupehan, waar mijn ouders hier met de auto heenreden besloot ik een Youth Holiday Ticket te kopen en zowel de heen- als terugreis met de trein/vouwfiets te maken. Op zondag kon ik de reis combineren met een slooptransport bestaande uit een 77’er en vier M4’s. Ondanks de vele wolken passeerde deze trein gelukkig in de zon. Op maandag stond de Bocqspoorlijn op het programma, waar men deze dag drie slagen reed met motorwagen 4602. Bij Braibant vond ik een bruggetje over het spoor, waar zowel de heen- als terugrit gefotogarfeert kon worden in bossige sfeer.

In het weekend van 7/8 oktober reed er een special dinertrein over lijn 128. Deze trein bestond uit de mitropa rijtuigen, hersporings rijtuig omkaderd door de 5205 en de 5183.

Op 12, 13 en 15 augustus 2017 was het jaarlijkse festival op Le Chemin de Fer du Bocq gehouden. Er waren verschillende gast locotmotieven van oa. Lineas, DB, SCM en SDP.
De 5205 is onderweg met trein 5329 van Braibant naar Bauche, achterop de trein hangt de 6506 van DB. Purnode, 13 augustus 2017.
A CFB former rack locomotive used for shunting at Benguela in 1970
Before Independence from Portugal in 1975 and the period of civil war that followed it, which devastated much of the country's infrastructure, the railways of Angola played an important part in its economic development. The three major systems (CF Luanda, CF Benguela and CF Moçamedes) were quite separate concerns and only the CFB was inter-connected with other parts of Southern Africa, through its border crossing into the Congo (Zaire). Before Independence had been achieved, security became a major problem during the mid-1960s, with the upper section of its 1,350 km route to the border being reduced to daylight-only operation. Additional protection was provided for footplate crews with visible military presence in armoured railcars, that would precede trains to seek out insurgents.
This locomotive was built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen as CFB Nr. 11 to work the 2,135 m section of Riggenbach rack and adhesion track laid through the Lengue Gorge in the Coruteva Mountains (between Benguela and Cubal). After abandonment of the rack section in 1948, the wood-burning 5th class 0-6-2T locomotives were rebuilt and reassigned to shunting duties, whilst retaining their small 4-wheeled tenders
