c/n 55186 (V55-400T) - built in 1972 as a CH-19E
The S-55QT (Quiet Technology) conversion was started by Orlando Helicopter in the mid 1980s and continued by Vertical Aviation Technology (VAT) in the 1990s, at the request of Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters who needed quieter helicopters for their sight-seeing flights. It features a 5-blade rotor instead of the standard 3-blade one, revised engine intakes and exhausts, and noise-suppressing engine covers. It also has extra large windows to improve the passenger's view. The conversion was certified in December 1999.
Only 2 helicopters were ever converted to this standard by Vertical Aviation of Sanford, Florida

I didn't like this shot when I looked at it in archives, thought the crop was way too close. It I was gonna use it, it would be for some high key carart.
But after converting to BW and looking at the total scene, I've now changed my mind.Some what looks like a real retro scene to me.. bad crop and all...lol

A spoon full of certified wild Civet Coffee, partially digested coffee cherries eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus): freshly ground, a light medium toast, purchased from the roaster himself in Hanoi Vietnam last week by a long term family friend and hand carried to my kitchen in Bangkok. I do not expect you to believe all that: but, trust me, it is all true.
The coffee when strong, black, without sugar is very slightly bitter as it should be without acidity and with a hint of chocolate and perhaps caramel. I am warned not to acquire the taste. The cost is prohibitive.
