The Charles A. Dana Discovery Center at the Harlem Meer in Central Park. This was the first time I had walked this area after living in NYC for nearly 37 years. I had no idea how beautiful it is.
I think this bird was curious as to what I was doing in it's neighborhood. This shot was taken in Central Park, New York City. As is often the case when I am roaming around taking pictures, good opportunities for unplanned photos unexpectedly become available. Here, I was fortunate to have a long lens on my camera when this bird just happened to suddenly appear out of a hole in a nearby tree.
Mamiya C22, 65mm lens, probably Ektar. (I can't read the film edges even WITH reading glasses, sorry)
