University of New England Men's Golf at CCC Qualifier at Halifax (Ma) Country Club - October 6, 20-15

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) kept several barracks at Gambrill. They built stone overlook platforms for scenery viewing into Frederick and Middleton. The platforms are still there and in good condition. The wooden barracks are gone. The Corps member still hold reunions.

Tree next to the Mount Si road. The sign used to say "$25 down", the price the owner would take to allow someone to commit to harvesting the tree a long time ago. Now the tree is probably worth $1500.
