Tizzy was the sweetest gentlest cat. I adopted him when he was already old - his owner had died & Tizzy was terrified in the cattery. He was a wonderful pet. The photo shows him enjoying the sunshine through a window. Sadly he was only with me for just over a year, but I’ve always been glad he was mine for a while.
Happy Caturday.
A cattery in the heart of the garrigue, the interior of the enclosures is wooded. The complex has chalets mounted on cement bases. The perimeter is enclosed by fencing and netting above.
Whenever there are kittens on the telly Caithlin comes running to comfort them. At the cattery she was a great mother - not only for her own kittens, but also for those of the other females.

Carrie: Right.
Fleur: So English isn't my native lamborghini.
Carrie: *Snrk* Really?

Carrie: You what!?
Fleur: Make it nap nap.
Carrie: Oh, phew!
Fleur: But instead of Cat Nap I got Catnip. Now they all cats come live with me very lively. *Sigh* No sleep.
Carrie: Don't worry auntie Fleur. I happen to speak cat lamborghini very well. Just hand me that box and when I go, they will come with me.

At the cattery they called him "the one with the caterpillar tank treads" because of his huge paws. :)

Devon Rex kittens from Fennec's cattery. The kittens are two weeks old today. This is the cream coloured boy, who attracts some curiousity from Vilma.
This is just the one for whom I would be seeking if I was looking for a second cat!

Phase one of the Cat Village was funded by a generous legacy from Phyllis Pratt. Each of the four seperate houses is a temporary home for up to 24 cats during their (hopefully) short stay with us.
Each cat receives individual attention and will be micro-chipped, neutered and inoculated before finding its own loving new family.
The facilities here now include a maternity unit, kitten nursery and playroom and an isolation ward for the sick cats. This has all been made possible by the support of our loyal donors and the late Mrs. Sweetman and Mrs. Roe.

Success Story:
Scamp a Male Tabby
My cat was called Sam at Wood Green and I renamed him Whisper and then renamed him again, to Scamp as he definitely is not a Whisper character. We think he is an undercover dog as he loves nothing better than playing fetch with balls, sweet wrappers, milk bottles etc.
When he has worn himself out from being a scamp he loves laying on his back, legs stretched and having his tummy rubbed. He has got such a big character for such a little cat and we have laughed so much since rehoming him.
This explosion of fluff is Pip. He came to the rescue centre with his brother Blue - who's very nervous at the moment and hid behind a bed - because their owner sadly passed away. They're three-and-a-half-year-old Persians and are both very beautiful. They spent some time at a boarding cattery before coming to the rescue centre, so I'm sure they can't wait to be in a home environment again. I don't think there's any doubt at all that they'll be adopted very quickly. The centre will make sure they stay together.
