From my mother's jewellery box. There were 2 similar horse and carriage brooches and I used the older looking one today. It is about 1" long.

This is the Carmichael buildings, it was originally a castle which was ruined around 1660AD then rebuilt as the mansion house in 1734/5AD, later the carriage tower was built then the 2nd house at the back. Unfortunately these were ruined in 1950, the walls were then restored 1996-2000, there is interest to restore the structures but this requires a huge financial investment.
Waiting patiently in the main street of Banff. We didn't take the opportunity though.

A 1953 Buick Roadmaster convertible with a 19th century Victorian buggy , equally as stylish , just a darn sight slower .

Three Icons depicting well known landmarks in Hull such as "The Deep"...The Tidal Barrier. and Tugs...All were seen on this Rail Carriage belonging to "Hull Trains" latest Hi-Speed Train which runs between Hull & London.
