Photographed this group of birches through some coloured leaves. Looks to me like there is some confetti in the air - that is why I chose the title "Carnival of trees".

According to their website, keywest.com, over 660,000 cruise passengers visit Key West each year. The cruise ship, Carnival Conquest, was in port on the day we visited Key West.
Carnival Conquest, operated by Carnival Cruise Lines, made its maiden voyage in 2002. The 953 foot (290m) long vessel sails from Fort Lauderdale. It carries 2980 passengers and 1150 crew, which might explain why downtown Key West was so crowded ; -)

During our various days at sea, and during downtimes in port, we decided to wander around the ship and take photos.
