Annecy Venetian Carnival
As every year, more than 300 Venetian masks and costumes strolled freely through the streets of old Annecy and on the ledge of the lake. No one knows who is behind these sumptuous and wonderful costumes and masks.
Nicknamed the Venice of the Alps because of its beauty and its canals, the city of Annecy welcomes perfectly this carnival which takes place over 3 days.

These gorgeous tulips we ordered from Keukenhof when visiting Holland in April 2006, may not be at their full glory after all these years, and still growing in pots at the moment, but still strikingly beautiful. Bath, BathNES, England, UK

Realizado para el concurso para seleccionar el cartel del carnaval 2009. No quedé seleccionado. Por lo que he podido leer como que ha habido sospechas en la elección del ganador que parece no cumplÃa los requesitos. Ojala no sea cierto eso.
i made this poster for another contest for the Carnaval de Cadiz. I wasn´t selected. And the sad thing is that there arr people saying that the winner was selected long time ago and that the poster didnpt fullfilled all the requirements. I hope is not true...

These photographs were taken at Carnaval in San Francisco, CA. The blues and purples in this woman's costume were unbelievable. I must have been a hundred yards away when I first spotted her.
