You will rarely see a guy who wants to love God. Most religious people do only talk about Paradise and its damsels.
Seeking union with God or love of God is a thing of mythology for a majority of religious people. Most religious people don’t buy the notion of God’s love.
If you closely and delicately examine the difference between luxuries of the world and the Paradise, it’s just a matter of quality; their nature is the same. How can those be pure in the heart who ignore God and only seek their own pleasure?
According to the Koran 41:31, ‘There you will find in Paradise everything that a Nafs (Carnal Self) aches for.’ Paradise does not contain the pleasure of love.
When God created human beings for the reason that God may be known and may be loved, then why do humans go after the pleasure and comforts of Paradise? Paradise has nothing else to offer but the pleasures to the Carnal Self.
What a distraction! What a mirage!
