This started out as a photograph of a car bumper light. I decolourised the image reticulated it with lines and circles and then applied the zig-zag effect
It was foggy all day today and I wondered how a long exposure would turn out, so I took my tripod up to the motorway bridge to find out. Turns out fog doesn't really stay still enough to show up on a long exposure....!
It was blinkin' freezin' too.
Also inspired by Lee Telford's recent M3 pix.

sitting at lizzies work... the weird lighting is because i'm being lit by the car's headlights (the car is also holding the cam :P)
btw... don't do this... your butt might end up kindda frozen :P
Stood out past sunset and snapped this long exposure of the moon, a street light and a few passing cars. One car hit their brakes giving me the effect I wanted and I walked away happy.
Taken just after sunset close to El Golfo. Canon EF 28-70 F2.8 L + tripod + cable release. All rights reserved. Images Copyright © Jason Rainsford (exemplaryphotos)

Another neighborhood shot. Very Late snowfall for our area (March 21, 2012) as we frequently get no snow all winter.
Looking through some of my unposted, but processed shots, I came across this set that I took one night as I was leaving work. I need to learn my cloud terminology. For lack of a better word, I call these layered clouds.
I liked the glow and the shape. The car lights were a bonus.
