I'm so sad that FIT is almost over! But yeah, today I was in the middle of taking pictures for my portfolio, and I just decided to take a picture outside. It took so long for a car to speed by.

I took this image after some failed attempts at capturing car light trails from the bridge over the road. The puddles caught my eye and I wanted to try to capture a car light trail reflection.

Passerende auto op de dreef

I was always liked these red lines from car backlights.

When they pass fast in front oa camera, the car itself is not really visible. Just a red/orange/yellowish line.

This is under N and Q train.

A red sky in the evening, seen from parts of the Larochette Chateau. The lights of cars arriving or leaving lead towards the Western sky while the night is falling..

Many images stacked to aquire the carlight trails.

KFC in Windsor. This truck almost ran the camera and tripod over.

I’m taking pictures of caravans… now I’m worried!

This Carlight of Sleaford Lincs, however, was an absolutely immaculate and un-restored (!) example from (I think) the early 60’s.

The accommodation, detailing and quality are exceptional!

The owner said that Carlight are renowned, to those in the know, as the Rolls Royce of caravans… which was appropriate as he was towing it with a Bentley!

Lumix DMC-FZ30 My old trusty workhorse a bit slow for this sort of thing so thats why I bought the D90 but I like the functions better on the Lumix and its a lot lighter to carry. Iam really impressed by the new Sony Cybershot TX1 purely for its low light capabilities and it will fit in your pocket , maybe ........ just thinking about it at present ,

I need a holiday first .

I will upgrade that Sony Cybershot to a TX7 ..... June 10th 2010 .

This is the second shot of the light trails from the first night of long exposure shooting.

Taken last Nov 10 in the middle island of the road at the fort.

A brief experiment in long exposures to shoot cars on a road. I was scouting for a good spot, and this seems to be fine! Not the best shot in the world but I'll be back there!

School holidays over which means back to my routine of car pooling

On my way to getting gas and food, I had to capture the beauty of the clouds over the mountains. Clouds don't stick around too often here but when they do, they offer a majestic, whole new way of looking at the mountains.

Night shot at an intersection near Suntec City (Rochor Rd./Beach Rd.). The photo was taken with a Nikon - Nikonos V - actually an underwater camera - with slide film for an ongoing project at that time - weird setup but it worked out wonderfully in the end.

Photo Challenge 2013 - Week 8 - "Other Photographers"

A slightly different view of "Other Photographers".... the ones that are normally hated by the road users etc.

Interesting that during setting up and taking the image all the cars slowed down when they saw me...must of been the tripod put them off :)

(Is it me or that camera looking at me ??)
