It was foggy all day today and I wondered how a long exposure would turn out, so I took my tripod up to the motorway bridge to find out. This is the only one with a bit of fog on it really. :o)
It was blinkin' freezin' too.
This was my favourite of the three because of the twiggy branches.
Also inspired by Lee Telford's recent M3 pix.

I was trying for a good up-close shot of the blue Christmas lights. The close-up didn't work out as planned, but I like the mix of lights
I tried making a semi black & white (or what it is called:p) The original was a 30sec shutter speed photo on a bridge over the E313 (Wommelgem) (see my photostream^^)
This is actually a picture of the lights on a car. I am in love with the geometry in car lights. So beautiful!
Another 27F (-2C) shot. The only lights we could see looking North were from the car and Montpelier, Idaho in the distance...under the pink.
HDR Info
- Three exposure HDR, bracketing set to 3F with 2.0 EV.

This is the famous Clark Bridge connecting Missouri and Illinois. This is a long exposure shot taken 9/18/07

Tripod no movement long exposures while cars move past getting only the lights and not the cars making different colour light streaks.
Here are some other gifts that we got for each other that didn't make it downstairs to include in the big picture. Clint's sister made our names out of metal... which immediately became a violet wand thing. The LED lights are car replacement lights.

The SB800 and reflector where then moved around the car to create the lighting as needed.
I’m taking pictures of caravans… now I’m worried!
This Carlight of Sleaford Lincs, however, was an absolutely immaculate and un-restored (!) example from (I think) the early 60’s.
The accommodation, detailing and quality are exceptional!
The owner said that Carlight are renowned, to those in the know, as the Rolls Royce of caravans… which was appropriate as he was towing it with a Bentley!
Shot from inside the car. I asked my wife to press the shutter and hold the camera steady. Shot along jalan Batu Kawa, Kuching on the way back from her office.
Have a great weekend to all my friends.
