In this photo more of the Lakeshore area of Pointe-Claire Que can be seen, along with the little dotted white lights of cars traveling along the Lakeshore Road.

My upload for a weekly photo challenge I'm doing with a group of Flickr friends. This week's theme is "Reflection".

My image this week is one that I found on my phone (and pimped just a little), taken recently at very close range of the centre of a round driving light on a 4WD.

A long exposure view over Drammen, Norway, where the winding E18 highway cuts through the city like glowing ribbons of light. Captured with a 300mm telephoto lens at f/32, 30 seconds, and ISO 200, the scene transforms the urban nightscape into a painting of luminous trails, reflections, and industrial silhouettes.

A mesmerizing long exposure captures Drammen’s vibrant nightscape as seen from Drafnkollen. The E18 Drammensbrua stretches across the city, its lanes aglow with the continuous flow of traffic, weaving luminous ribbons through the darkness. The city’s lights shimmer along the river, reflecting the pulse of urban life and the quiet majesty of a Norwegian night.

Fact: Drammensbrua is a key part of the E18 highway, connecting eastern and southern Norway, and is one of the country’s most iconic motorway bridges.

Fun Fact - Drammen’s iconic spiral-like road system has earned the city the nickname “the traffic knot of Norway”. The E18 highway, seen here as glowing lines, is one of the busiest roads in the country and serves as a vital connection between Oslo and Southern Norway.

I played a little with my photo title. Nick Raider is a fictional detective comic book. I love comic books, I think Nick Raider is cool character but this comic book never been popular as Zagor, Dylan Dog or Mister No. Do you like comic books?

I was lucky because in 2 minutes long exposure I get cars in every directions. I work so I can't make much photos as I want (and I am rarely happy with my photo results so I am sharing this image lol). Location of this photo is Bibinje (Zadar county). Funny thing is I visited Bibinje last time in childhood with Vragina (local guy from Bibinje). Vragina is nickname from vrag = devil. In the last years I told myself I need to go to Bibinje but I didn't have good reason to visit it, but old "dead" railway attract me a lot so I visited this location few times.

I am not sure is that house a power plant in the background on the left side. On the right side there is Spar supermarket. For this idea I bought few extra flashlights ;). I think all this elements includig highway & railroad bring some interesting scene (in my opinion).

I recommend you songs: Queensryche - Nightrider, Rainbow - A Light in the Black, Iommi - Into The Night.

P.s. If some local dude or dudette see this photo, I am not crazy I just used so many flashlight for better atmosphere in my photo lol. Btw does this lights remind you of sea urchins?

One of the 2 images had been chosen by Fuji in the FUJIFILM PrintLife UK: My Life Photo Exhibition 2019!

Very pleased to learn 😊

Many thanks to all for your views, faves and comments –

truly appreciated

Trying to cram as many sites as possible in a weekend is just counterproductive I argued with myself as I raced in the rain to the Metro station. Slow down or you will miss seeing this town through the eyes of a photographer. Besides, my feet hurt.

So, I stopped and noticed.

December rain. No snow here yet.

Happy Thursday everyone xo

Gruftstraße, Kleve (NRW, Deutschland)

Follower Lucie suggested more road and less leaves would make for a better picture. So, I recropped. Opinions?

Took this shot coming back from work the other night. I kinda liked the colours and the mess of all those red lines going everywhere, vibrating all over the picture and concentrating at the top of it.

This was taken whilst shooting the night sky, I was in between setting up when I noticed the forest being illuminated from the lights of an on coming vehicle.

This is a photo tale about Speedy Gonzales who leaved trail running from police pursuit after he stole expensive suit

Speedy Gonzales (fastest mouse in all Mexico) is a cute cartoon from my childhood. I recommend you song Pat Boone - Speedy Gonzalez.

About photography: location is a third floor from abandon beverage factory Maraska in city Zadar that is now like a spooky horror house with dangerous rotten floor as cheese with holes or as dry cookie (dry cookie is expression that Bud Spencer (character Mesito) used for old train station in a great western movie The Five Man Army), roof is in bad condition like Lego dice, you are just praying that bricks don't hit your head and you are praying that you don't fall down through bad floor. Furthermore, you are lucky if angry pigeons don't leave trace on your head because you disturbe them lol (this is now pigeons hotel, don't disturbe :). Was this photo worth a risk ???

Few words about my photo. I love to make photos in bad light condition, it is more mystic and long exposure photos make photos looks better (at least for me). This photo have long exposure 8 minutes so I catch car lights: front part of the cars leaves yellow trace and back part of cars red trace. On the right side you can see ferryboat light trace, it is boat that connect city Zadar and island Ugljan, you can see lights of other places on island such as Preko, Kali etc. I didn't plan to catch boat trace.

Autos sind an sich langweilig. Doch die Spiegelung macht ein interessantes Motiv daraus (Cars are boring. But the reflection makes it an interesting motive)

Out practising night settings again... this time different camera, lens and ISO!

The Morro Bay Estuary with South Bay Blvd., which links Los Osos & Morro Bay, California

I consider this a work-in-progress as I hope to return to this spot or nearby when the coastal fog is not so thick. (The light in the distant sky is result of lights of the town of Morro Bay reflecting off the fog.)

If you don’t speak Icelandic and have never driven in Iceland, the title of this image “Einbreið brú” won’t make any sense. But if you intend to come to Iceland and drive a car, you should make sure you know what it is.
