Shot with a Nikon D7200 and a 17 - 55 f:/2.8 Lens this is a light painting project with Porsche this last weekend.

Car was light painted using a Youkoyi light stick / wand. This is a full rgb light wand along with adjustable white light. The above was painted with a soft purple colour just wanting to try something a little different.

Car light trails taken from a bridge just south of Kilmacanogue Village, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

It is the time of the year when dusk is earlier in the evening and nearer to peak traffic times.

A self portrait in dark times. Lit by interior light of my car. Subtle appearance of UPS safety vest...

Castle Street , Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Self portrait. I came up with this idea for photo last year. I was not to sure on where to set it up on or indeed what night to try it out. I went out on a few nights , just to practice the technique of what I was trying to do. After trying a few locations in the town , I decided to use this one, because the cars would be coming up from behind me. I choose wednesday night, because I knew at about 10.30 bingo would be over, and there would be a heavier volume of traffic .This is a single image with a 30sec. expource .The location is at the top of Castle Street . I sat beside Tony Dalys wheelie bin for the first 10sec. of the exposure, and for the rest ot the time i stood out on the road.I have to say I had good fun trying this out, and would like to thank my brother Anthony for coming along with me, who was good company on the night!

Foggy weather in Helsinki

One great thing with lilacs is that they form large buds already in autumn. A greeting from nature saying that light & warmth will come again.

I love long exposures, everything to do with night time, the dark, sunrise and sunset.

I like to take pictures mainly at night , sometimes during the day and in dull and fading light and I will sometimes display the time and date the picture was taken too.

I tend to take pictures of Light trails, Motorway traffic, Street lights, Buildings, Landscapes, Bokeh, Night bokeh and Hexagonal Night Bokeh in and around the North East of England.

All of my pictures are 100% natural and untouched in every way without ever been Photo shopped or altered or messed about with in anyway whatsoever, No multi layered photography, No HDR's and No image manipulation of any kind, all of my pictures look just the way they did when I saw them at the time of taking and I'm VERY PROUD of that.

I don't do any photo processing at all, I don't even own any photo software.

All of my starbursts are all 100% natural without using any filters or anything else, as is all my bokeh, night bokeh and hexagonal night bokeh, its all natural, no funny gimmicks at all.

I don't do anything with my pictures apart from take them and then upload them , 99.99999% of my pictures don't even get cropped , they are all 100% natural and untouched and then uploaded.

This is from my archives. It is THE road that connects Morro Bay and Los Osos as it passes the bay (Morro Bay). I had taken earrlier views from this location in winter after being enamored with the red of the salt marsh which is due to the color of the pickleweed (Salicornia virginica). But that view didn't include the water because the bay is only this close to the highway at very high tides. So this view was a summer evening. And plenty of traffic.

...another version of the scene I photographed in December 2016, this time with a vehicle approaching through the late-afternoon mist.

I have been thinking of taking this shot for a long time. I liked the Endesa (electric company) building, and the M40 ring to make a late evening shot. The bridge near my house was the perfect spot, thus, there's something missing in this image, the feeling is just not right. Just an average long shutter speed shot

I'm not too crazy about this one but I like the green traffic light and the colours of the car lights.

Sun was still in the sky to the west (left side) and this photo leaving a nice, very light sky with a slight orange tint. The image is composed of 3 eight second exposures blended together.

Taken from the pedestrian bridge on 24th St.

This sculpture is called 'Fire Within'. It was taken a few weeks back when the Art & Industry festival was on...to get this I had to park in an industrial area - the only parked car in sight..walk back to the main road, cross at the lights - all very proper and correct :-) then walk thru a reserve that is between the freeway and one of the exits.
