Eine Langzeitbelichtung der Willi-Brandt-Straße mit dem St. Nikolai Mahnmal im Hintergrund.
A long exposure night shot of the Willi-Brandt-Street with the St. Nikolai curch in the background.
Got lucky on this one, captured both a plane and a lone car mid-travel. Taken along the Penobscot River in Greenbush, ME.
We had an assignment where we had to demonstrate fast and slow shutter speed, along with a panning shot.
The future has arrived. Hovering cars are no longer a thing from science fiction television shows.
Not photoshopped. Only minor color enhancement and signature added.
Last night found the traffic on Rt30 very interesting
Could not resist this lengthy series & headings
All done in jest...no driver was injured or harmed...
Light trails of cars with the moon somewhere on the A19, it was a good night for photography, it was not cold (for a change) we had a beautiful full moon and i saw a Aston Martin one-77 for the very first time, the fastest naturally aspirated car in the world, and i am likely to never seen one ever again as they have only been on sale for 5 months and there is only 77 of them in the whole world, yet the McLaren F1 has been on sale for 19 years and there is 71 of them and i still have never seen a McLaren F1.

I love long exposures, everything to do with night time, the dark, sunrise and sunset.
I like to take pictures mainly at night , sometimes during the day and in dull and fading light and I will sometimes display the time and date the picture was taken too.
I tend to take pictures of Light trails, Motorway traffic, Street lights, Buildings, Landscapes, Bokeh, Night bokeh and Hexagonal Night Bokeh in and around the North East of England.
All of my pictures are 100% natural and untouched in every way without ever been Photo shopped or altered or messed about with in anyway whatsoever, No multi layered photography, No HDR's and No image manipulation of any kind, all of my pictures look just the way they did when I saw them at the time of taking and I'm VERY PROUD of that.
I don't do any photo processing at all, I don't even own any photo software.
All of my starbursts are all 100% natural without using any filters or anything else, as is all my bokeh, night bokeh and hexagonal night bokeh, its all natural, no funny gimmicks at all.
I don't do anything with my pictures apart from take them and then upload them , 99.99999% of my pictures don't even get cropped , they are all 100% natural and untouched and then uploaded.

Steam coming out of big pipes is what makes new York look like the movies to me. half of me expected it to be a myth, but wandering the streets of manhatten at night with shadowy figures, and carlights reflected in the puddles, this is an atmosphere that you can't beat.
This is my first attempt at HDR and I think it turned out pretty good.
I only used two images, one exposed for the foreground and building, the other shot exposed for the sky. Then layered and masked in CS5.
Shot taken of University Ave. for school dealing with color.
Canon EOS 50D
24mm Tilt Shift
Graduated Neutral Density & Regular Neutral Density filter used to make the color pop.

Important Note : If you look at the car trails you'll notice that one trail just seems to go off into the sky. This is from the combination of a bouncing bridge and a long exposure :-)
Set up at the traffic light, was so happy that the cab driver stopped for about half of the exposure time. Fantastic that I didn't loose all detail in the light advertising on the cab! In a perfect world, the cab would have stopped half a meter earlier!

This is from a set taken over a week ago as part of a commission around a Nissan SkyLine GTR. The shot was taken with a Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 17-55 f/2.8 DX lense. Lighting was from 1 Nikon SB800 with Honl Wide Diffuser Grids flash set to +1 1/3 ev up on a lighting stand about 3 feet high in the middle of the car aimed slighty upward about 5 feet from the car I was laid down on the floor behind the car the flash was triggered using Nikon CLS ( The lighting on this one is not quite what I had in mind so hoping to re - visit this car over the next couple of weeks ). During post contrast and saturation tweaked with dodging and burning in work done. The steel texture hand drawn in with additional shadow detail and highlight from the cars headlights also hand drawn in during final post production.
