This is a photo of the road surface of the A27 highway near where I live. I wanted to experiment with using the lights of passing cars to light up the road surface. I was happy with how the outer headlight of each car delineated the edge of the road.
One more bridge-pic ;) It`s interesting how fast the light is changing during the blue hour at the moment.

"Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
How can you lose?
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares and go..."
... well, I don't know if going to Pizza Express makes you forget all your troubles, but seeing the London night lights blur along the entrance to one of their branches might.

sooc except for the words (:
It looks so plain and stupid and boring without the words....haha :/

Sorry I have been away! I've been moving halfway across the country! I'm back in Australia at Sydney :D
Unfortunately when I arrived it was SOO HOT. Two days ago the highest temperature here is 40 degrees CELSIUS....D: I had the fan on blowing at me and I still feel sticky and hot = = luckily yesterday it rained really heavily and now it's 29 degrees yay :D
(it's summer here in case you don't know haha)
soooo, due to the hot weather (plus I just got off the plane) I woke up at 2am and sat around talking to mum and my brother and then took photos of cars driving by like the above photo :D I also get to watch the sunrise for once! I always wanted to watch it with my future boyfriend..but haha oh well :)) I'll upload a stop motion of sunrise somehow! my windows movie maker don't work so I don't know what program to use :/
P.S. that thief who took my photos and my friend's is still around gah :(
P.P.S. I got 7000+ last week but now because of my lack of uploads my views dropped immensely :(

A very long exposure of the moonrise over Canyon Lake, Arizona. Shot on my Canon 6D, 14mm f/2.8. The star trails were added as a composite, and added circling around the moon (impossible). 7 min long exposure, f/4. ISO 400. Fun fact - the car on the left is the same as the one on the right!

About this Shot
Always been impressed with the shots like this taken by other users, so I thought I would have a go myself.
Shot was taken about 7:30pm last night, hopefully the fog helped to make the shot a bit more atmospheric. Unfortunately the road was not quite as busy as I had hoped at that time, so I may have to return earlier one evening and have another go.
I don't currently have a tripod so I had to use my Gorillapod, which was ok, but not quite as steady as I would have wanted for a 20 second exposure.

Comments/questions are always appreciated
I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line of the edge
And where I walk alone
Read between the lines what's
Fucked up and every things all right
Check my vital signs to know I'm still alive
And I walk alone

I have to say I'm really enjoying my 365, it has me taking photos everyday when I know I just wouldn't bother normally.
I took this on the street outside my house today, I must have looked odd 'cos one of my neighbours came out to check if I was ok...might have had something to do with the fact I was kneeling in the middle of the road in a puddle...
363:365 - Around the bend yet: Stopped on the way home tonight to get a quick shot of a light trail. I was worried it wasn't busy enough, but I managed to get a decent volume of cars.
A massive super cell that moved in to and ran me out of El Malpais National Monument after sunset lights up the lava fields outside of Grants, New Mexico. The light trails across the lower center is Interstate 40. The light trail center, right is Highway 53 where, 10 miles beyond, I had been shooting storms for hours until beating feet for town. Another of the 'Red Lights streaming towards Hull' set. I uploaded 0925 by mistake. It should have been this one. including the Train Red Lights, Whoops! The Railway Station is Hessle.
This was my first night going out and actually shooting. I really enjoyed playing with the shutter speed and having the car lights expand across the street.
