Make it crazy, was the instruction. So here are my crazy car details - rear lights and rain. Standing out in the darkness under my umbrella, husband in the car with his foot on the brake, camera on tripod as I click click click. Yes, crazy (and fun)

Ich wünsche allen meinen Freunden und Fans einen guten Rutsch und ein gesundes und fröhliches Jahr 2015!

It was a damp misty evening and I wanted to try and get some different angles of this iconic bridge. shot using Triggertrap

I know well this place, but i didn't notice how rich visually it is! The camera was on a tripod, and pose is long ( diaphragm is closed ), as long as possible for the cars to create trail...Another photo of this place has been taken by day from a different point of view, with a Fuji XE3. In my gallery!...See you my friends photographers !

The cell developed from nothing at about 04:00AM and robbed me of sleep.

That is the view of Sydney King st.

I waited for a rainy day to return to this place and take the picture, lights of buildings and cars mixed with the sound of rain create a magical atmosphere.

Preivous Image

I uploaded this image the other day, but with with a red sky. I am interested to know if this is recieved better or worse than the other image. At first I liked the first way I processed this, but then when I was playing this morning, did this and now I really like what it looks like now. The reason I am wondering is that I am working on a senior thesis and need to keep things consistent. If the way I did this one is better, then I will keep to this look, rather than the other. Let me know what you think. I would greatly appreciate it.

A shot of the Chicago Theater in Downtown Chicago, of course.

Morning traffic.

A somewhat different angle of a very photographed icon.

Gave it another go in good old Canton.. One thing to love about Baltimore is that the put all the bars in clusters so you don't have far to stumble if everyone at one bar is annoying.

Canton is one of the more upscale areas with lots of pubs and restaurants. Let me rephrase that. Canton is an area where there are lots of 20 and 30 somethings that think they know everything and wear fancy clothes and suits so that you will think they are actually important and know something.

So if you visit Baltimore and you want everyone to know just how important and fancy YOU are, then Canton is the place for you.

Much darker image, a bit underexposed. The ND filter was likely unnecessary . I had to lower the black point on the scan a lot but it has a fun look to it nonetheless.

Saturday evening Traffic

not the middle of the middle, but it looked like a artifical sky for me with the lights above my head and the concrete walls leading to infinity. Barcelona.

New car lights are very artistic.

New York. The Empire State Building lit up at night and traffic whizzing by it.

I've always loved the way that Memorial Drive in Cambridge goes under the Longfellow Bridge. It's tough to get a good picture of it, though, because of the street lights along memorial drive (there's one just off frame to the right which ruins any shots to the right of where I'm standing). This picture looks a lot like the one two previous in my photostream, just from the opposite side of the Salt-and-Pepper Bridge. I like how in this shot, the lights of Fenway Park can been see illuminating the Fenway section of Boston.

This picture is made up of two single shot exposures: a +2EV for the city, and a -2EV for the road (the road in the +2EV shot was just pure white). This is, however, not an HDR. Only the road was removed from the -2EV shot.
