This simple house was the home of a long time small farmer named Carl. I haven't been able to find out a lot about him,other than he left this simple farm around 2009. The house, though pretty empty, still holds antiques and some classic mementos from his life...

A back lit view of the Iron Age Hill Fort in Burbage valley.

 

When I'd first arrived, this area had no fog so I spent most of my time shooting towards the inversion in Hope Valley. I eventually worked my way back to this view as the mist rose up after sunrise. this was taken just in time. Moments later, I was engulfed in the fog.

 

I think I saw the back of Pete Quinn's head. He looked busy so I didn't say hello. I've never met him, but I saw his photo. Pete was more patient than me and caught the moment the mist started to form over Burbage Valley...
