Visual artist and professional photographer Toni Lovejoy held a 3-week workshop at University City Regional Library to instruct students on camera basics, exposure, and composition. Students received instruction through in-class theory, hands-on activities, and photo walks around the library to develop technical skills and learn how to express their creative visions. The class culminated with a Family and Friends Artist Showcase.

The Wake Forest Office of Personal and Career Development hosts the incoming first year students for an orientation session on career planning, in Wait Chapel on Thursday, August 24, 2017. The students make paper airplanes from a survey, then throw them at the staff.
SHERMAN OAKS - It took Los Angeles Fire Department rescuers, including the LAFD Urban Search and Rescue Team, nearly an hour to delicately perform the disentanglement and technical rope rescue of an adult male tree trimmer perilously pinned by palm fronds near the top of a 45' tall palm tree at the rear of a home at 4412 Matilija Street on June 5, 2021. The man was taken by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital in fair condition. The responders gathered briefly at the scene following the rescue, for an after-action review of the rescue.

The Office of Professional and Career Development hosted their annual STEM Slam for students to network with employers and explore STEM careers Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Wake Downtown in Winston Salem, NC.
The Wake Forest Office of Personal and Career Development (OPCD) holds a career event with students and recruiters, Diversity Matters, in the Sutton Center gym on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
During a 3-day symposium, ESCP Europe Master in Management students had the chance to work on their individual career plans.
50 professionals from business and civil society helped the students to discover their strengths and motivation, to reflect on personal, entrepreneurial and societal goals, and to work on concrete next steps for successful life planning.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations were the core of this year's event. In workshops, the students came up with ideas on how to reach the 17 Global Goals by 2030 and reflect on their personal impact.
Loyola University New Orleans' Career Development Center offers resources to students to help you discover your path, practice your skills, communicate your differences, and create strategies for career success. Resources include resume writing, cover letters, thank you notes, mock interviews with a career coach or visiting employer, and seminars and workshops.
