You never know who you might meet when you are out and about. We met this lovely man and his parrot Captain Jack Sparrow when we were in Weymouth on Saturday. We asked if we could take a picture and he said of course. While he stood there, Capt Jack started grooming his hair - lol. Later on that afternoon Georgia was looking out to sea and shouted "I need a boat and a parrot"! Don't we all?!?
We are off to Kent tonight as we are going to an open day tomorrow at the Big Cat Sanctuary

Pirates of the Carribean (starring Johnny Depp) filming off the Palos Verdes Peninsula today (8/27/06). Hundreds of people with cameras and binoculars (and their cars) lined every open bluff. It was quite a spectacle.

Watched Dead Men Tell No Tales this morning, and it inspired me to build something. This is by far one of my favorite scenes of Jack Sparrow ever.
Enjoy this little build. Unfortunately school is starting again next week, and I've had very little time for building and photography.

I've heard of being drunk enough to see double, but this is ridicules. Was walking down the streets of First Friday, in Down Town Las Vegas, Nevada, And saw not one, but two Johnny Depps. Standing next to each other was Willy Wonka and Captain Jack Sparrow. What a night!
I used a speed light, on a radio trigger, held in my left hand, to create a nice portrait lighting. Had the pancake 40mm Canon lens, that is really fast and sharp.

I'm finally getting around to posting my photos from the Boo-To-You Halloween parade. I know I'm a little late but better late then never. Some of these floats throw off some really harsh lighting so you have to fix that when you edit, however; sometimes it's very hard to do. How do you deal with the harsh lighting? Have a magical day!
I was set to do the movie...but they wanted me to play Captain Jack Sparrow without my sunglasses...being the stubborn pirate that I am...and also my sunglasses being my trade mark...i refused to continue shooting under those conditions...therefore that Johnny dude got the part !!
Bless his heart matteys...he's a good soul ;-)) I don't like all the slapping is been getting from all those girls though...be nice to Jack Ladies...he only wants to love ya like Pepe le Pew does...nothing wrong with a little lovin' from a Pirate...non ?? ;-))
