The unique channel markers at Rock Harbor

Along a pond path on Cape Cod.

Stopped by the Highland Lighthouse back in July, just as the scaffolding was going up for “major structural repairs” which are expected to be completed during the next year. Great to see the place being kept up: the original lighthouse was a 45 foot-tall wooden tower commissioned by George Washington in the late 1700s!
