Jubilee Campus is a modern purpose-built campus which extends to 65 acres and is located a mile from University Park, Nottingham. The initial phase was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 1999.

The master plan was created by BUSarchitektur under the guidance of the architect Laura P. Spinadel. The buildings of the campus are designed by architectural firms from Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and Austria. The dominant element of the campus is the Library & Learning Center, which was planned by Zaha Hadid.

Taken in the evening around the Łódź university campus.

On the left, the faculty of management; in the center, student's house XIV also known as 'The Tower of Babel'. The nickname refers to the multitude of languages, it having been the main accomodation for the students of the Polish-as-foreign-language faculty - in Communist times mainly all kinds of people from the Eastern Bloc and USSR-sympathizing Third World countries. This resulted in a jubilant international atmosphere quite unusual for the mostly boring and closed-off Communist Poland.

For the historical record, this is not the original 'Tower of Babel' student's house. The original is another, smaller building nearby; the students moved to the larger one and carried the nickname with them. The old building has a much more vertical silhouette, thus justifying the 'Tower' nickname.

Fox squirrels on a spring day in Ann Arbor, Thursday June 2nd, 2022. Lots of mommas who are still nursing their little ones, who are definitely starting to make their way on campus. Also saw a few bunnies, including the poor juvenile with tics on her ears. Wishing you joy, health and peace wherever you are.

Dit gebouw (nr. 2) is de sociale hub van de PHV-campus. De gelaagde, organische vormen zijn geïnspireerd op een waterval. Vloeiende lijnen en een sensueel gebogen rimpeling in het glasoppervlak geven op spectaculaire wijze vorm aan de hoofdingang.

This building (number 2) is the social hub of the PHV campus. The layered, organic forms are inspired by a waterfall. Flowing lines and a sensually curving ripple in the glass surface give a spectacular form to the main entrance (MVSA Architects).

This is one of the many very unique buildings on the Princeton university campus in Princeton, New Jersey. Some of the buildings reminded me of structures from the Harry Potter movies. The campus was very scenic and inspired me to take a few photos!
