Something Beginning With " C " -- In Black & White .
Well - you very nearly did not get this shot , I have seen the caravan and campervan here a number of times and even walked past here on my way to the shops !! It was not until I got to the shops and saw another campervan that made me think of " C " & SSC shot - duh !!
While I was there by the parked cars I even bumped into a cousin of mine , another " C " , but I do not do people shots as a rule . Therefore , on the way back I made the point of taking the shot here - I took just two shots from slightly different angles and the second shot was this one and a better balanced scene .
Been an interesting challenge this week , taken a number of different shots , some of which I have posted earlier this week on my photo-page . I also tried a few shots on Thursday while at Earlswood Lakes of some coots - but they were not working well at all !!

This Bedford CA was photographed on the front parked up in Felixstowe after arriving on the Ipswich road run in 2002.
On 8th March 1950 VW began production of a Beetle-based transporter van, slightly resembling a box on wheels, at the rate of 10 vehicles per day. In 1951 they introduced the Westfalia camper van, which featured additional windows, and was fitted out internally with cooking and sleeping facilities. The camper van proved to be extremely popular and continued in production until 1967, when the last van with the distinctive double front windows 'splittie' rolled off the production line, VW had produced 1,477,330 of these Type two vehicles .
