La campagna toscana è stata costruita come un'opera d'arte da un popolo raffinato, quello stesso che ordinava nel '400 ai suoi pittori dipinti ed affreschi: è questa la caratteristica. È incredibile come questa gente si sia costruita i suoi paesaggi rurali come se non avesse altra preoccupazione che la bellezza. (Henri Desplanques)

Un vigneto, un bosco a far da filtro d'orizzonte e una schiera di vette innevate, le Prealpi Carniche, a chiudere l'orizzonte di Tramontana. E' la campagna della Pianura Veneta Orientale; una delle più belle e armoniose d'Italia, quando non profanata dalle schiede dei capannoni industriali e dalle ferite di autostrade e tangenziali. Una campagna antica in cui si ha limpressione che l'uomo debba vivere di solo vino :-) ..... ..
