Lucilia caesar is a member of the fly family Calliphoridae commonly known as blow flies.[2] L. caesar is commonly referred to as the common greenbottle, although this name may also refer to L. sericata. The adult flies typically feed on pollen and nectar of flowers. The larvae feed mainly on carrion.

Whilst doing some portraits at Newcastle Falcons yesterday, managed to grab a quick shot of the magnificent Caesar, the owner of the club's dog.
I really like this shot, first one taken outside with natural light which improves the photo by a lot!
Anyways, this shows fallschirmjagers and wehrmacht defing the last line of defence before Rome.
Enjoy :)

Maybe yes, mabe not. We found this bust in an old classroom. It was completely ravaged. The young students had opened holes in his eyes, had broken the nose and one hear. They even did drawings and lettering with graffiti ink impossible to erase. I thought I could use it as a mannequin, while I do not have one that suits my purposes. Cristina is restoring it and giving it a new life. We are willing to share the Atelier with this fellow, as he seems to be quiet and nice. We decided to give him the name of Caesar.
