Caesar & Jilly; they are still getting used to each other - the outside exploring and playing time is helping, they come in and are very tired and just flop down together. Here you can see though, we still have the x-pen up and are gradually increasing their time together cautiously. Jilly is three pounds smaller than Caesar and even though he's still a bit timid, she's pushy, and asking for more of a fight than she can win. We hope to have them spending all day together by three weeks. And then 24-7 by five, maybe sooner if we are lucky.

Future Shock; Culture Clash; Generation Gap -- Call it what you will, I think Caesar is having a hard time coming to grips with today's youth. I heard him mumble something under his breath that sounded an awful lot like, "Stupid punk kids. Wouldn't last a second against one of my crack legionaries." But then again, would one of Caesar's legionaries be able to make sense of the latest iPhone ap?

Caesar is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I can't say anything about the Bay, but I know he enjoys streams and puddles rather a lot.

Little Caesars

383 Caratoke Highway, Suite C, Caratoke Plaza, Moyock, NC

Opened June 29th, 2023

I drove to the Outer Banks with the intention of picking up Papa John's for dinner, not realizing that the restaurant is currently closed due to it being the off season. Instead, I dropped by this newer Moyock Little Caesars on the way back home, which I had no idea even existed until passing by this morning. It's nothing fancy since its' the company's typical aesthetic, but considering that the next nearest Little Caesars is about a fifteen mile drive up north in Great Bridge I'm sure that the locals appreciate them being here.
