Simply had to photograph this beautiful Cacti as l walked past a flower stall in Hull City Centre,

Our kitchen cactus has flowered over a prolonged period, albeit the flowers only last a couple of days.

Cactus flowers seen in Aghios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece.

Hopefully, not a totally tired theme. But another cactus bloom to bring a little color to your day.

Tucson Mountains. This one was watching over her nest which is in the middle of this cactus and well-protected with cholla spines. Not sure how they avoid getting poked.

(120/366) Busy day yesterday tidying the house up for an unexpected viewing & at the same time welcoming a family with 2 small kids & dog checking into the B&B. So I just had time for a quick snap of one of my cactus plants basking in the sunshine on the kitchen windowsill.

Cactus are blooming 2 weeks earlier than normal.( According to my experience.)

Image won 2nd place in the St. Louis Camera Club's Nature image contest on May 12, 2016.

Blooming cactus in Green Valley, Arizona are a special treat.
