A fianco del tempio sono disposte un totale di 200 colonne fra rotonde e quadrate.
Le colonne quadrate : sono disposte principalmente davanti e lungo i lati sud e ovest. Si distinguono per essere riccamente scolpite in bassorilievo su tutti quattro i lati, raffiguranti guerrieri tolteci (originariamente decorate con colori vivaci).
Le colonne rotonde: si estendono verso l' esterno e fanno parte della vicina struttura conosciuta come il "Tempio delle Mile Colonne"
A total of 200 columns—both round and square—are arranged alongside the temple.
The square columns are primarily situated at the front and along the south and west sides. They are distinguished by rich bas-relief carvings on all four sides, depicting Toltec warriors (originally painted in vivid colors).
The round columns extend outward and form part of the nearby structure known as the "Temple of the Thousand Columns.
