"OLD RIVETS IN BLUE". Still going strong 44 years after it was built, GG1-4800 is easing through Bayview Yard under I-895, the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Throughway, with train BW1. GG1-4853 provides additional juice. On the left, still in service at this time, is Bay Tower. On the right, Southern Railway NW2-1032 is parked with capped stacks, in transit to the Port Jersey RR in the Greenville/Bayonne area of NJ. Later on, it would end up on the Reading & Northern as a parts source for their NW2-1000. It was scrapped in 1996.
