I really love this pitcher that I treated myself to, last Christmas. It was handmade by the very talented Heather Lake, of MadeMud Pottery Studio in Fort Langley, BC, Canada.

I guess it was last year as farmers around Germany started decorating their tractors Christmassy to give a glimmer of hope and to shout out to buy regional. Support the locals.
It's that time of the year again. Apple harvest time. There are so many and so many varieties. Picked a little bit of each and ate a little of each. The smell and taste of ripe sun warmed apples is unbeatable
Derrière le masque...
Derrière le masque, savez-vous ce qu'il y a ?
Il y a un autre masque, comme ce masque-là !
Il y a un autre masque....
Et derrière il y a...!
...Et derrière il y a un Foutographe, évidemment... :-))

We support local farmers and local businesses, they are our neighbors and friends.
Ellen said at the end of a day of sorting fruit, the compost pile will be up to her waist. By morning, there's hardly anything left because the wildlife have helped themselves to this smorgasbord.

Sunset over Glade Road Growing in early May. I think that's garlic growing in rows.

Julia Belle clutch will be the favorite in your collection. She is just so cute! I want to keep her for myself! She is durable and has a magnetic closure. Her huge button is covered in dots and sure to please. Hand embroidered and grosgrain ribbon edging are made with handmade love and extra attention.
Julia Belle would be so great for a summer special occasion or just kicking it for a lunch on the terrace!

College Street, Little Italy, Toronto ON 4 Jan 2021
For a period of November-December 2020 pandemic response required a shutdown of some businesses. Big-box stores were allowed to open but other non-essential stores were forced to close. It particularly hurt small and independent businesses.
Ransone's Drug building on the left, and Buchanan Theatre on the right. Black Widow was playing, and main street was pretty full with the parked cars of theater-goers.
"Buchanan is a town in Botetourt County, Virginia, United States. The population was 1,196 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Roanoke metropolitan area. It was the western terminus of the James River and Kanawha Canal when construction on the canal ended.
Buchanan was incorporated in 1832. The town of Pattonsburg was founded on the opposite side of the James River (named for Colonel James Patton), and was connected to Buchanan via a bridge. An 1855 gazetteer described Buchanan and Pattonsburg together containing "3 or 4 churches, 1 bank, 1 printing office, and several tobacco factories and mills." Buchanan was named for Virginia colonist John Buchanan (died 1769), a soldier and landowner who built Fort Fauquier on the James River, just south of the town.
The Buchanan Historic District, Buchanan Theatre, Greyledge, Lauderdale, Looney Mill Creek Site, and Wilson Warehouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places." (Wikipedia)
