These two plants sit in our garden, the purple one has these pretty little flowers on it, but you can also see those nasty prickles too. There’s usually a sparrow that nests in here so again rather hesitant to cut it down. The yellow colour is from a variegated plant that grows up through the first plant.

It had been a glorious day yesterday and we took full advantage of the fine weather, 100k ( 63 Miles) on the bike from Cardiff over to Porthcawl, I took a photo of Port Talbot but made sure that the polluting clouds were just out of shot, ( might post sometime to show that PT is not the most polluted town in the uk ;) ). We then spent some hours gardening before finally having some time for some photos. Was I tired or what?!

Last Xmas, we went to Oahu. This noodle house was crowded all day. The line was always long. We weathered the wait one afternoon and got our noodles. It was delicious. These guys were sweating in the kitchen from lunch til dinner. Can't imagine what Oahu looks like this Xmas with Covid still wreaking havoc everywhere. Where are the vaccines???

Yet again I missed the better weather this morning. I even managed to get the washing out for a bit, but by the time I was able to get out it had gone really dull.

I then brought the washing in just before lunch as it looked like it was about to pour down ... it did. So Rufus got the picture making thing pointed at him, but he did get a treatie biscuit for his hard work.

he requested a self portrait but i wasn't able to today. my brother is joining the Navy and i just got home after a day of running around!

busy day - rise and shine!

12 varieties at least 6 of them new for me - way too many for my garden but I'll share/sell some to continue funding my garden expenses. 9/12 are hot varieties. Last year every single tomato and pepper seed germinated - we'll see what what 2022 brings.
