The bush tits were gathered in the bushes again. I took shots, and was fortunate enough to get a few motion captures.
Portulacaria afra (known as elephant bush, porkbush, purslane tree and spekboom in Afrikaans) is a small-leaved succulent plant found in South Africa. These succulents commonly have a reddish stem and leaves that are green, but also a variegated cultivar is often seen in cultivation. They are simple to care for and make easy houseplants for a sunny location. In frost-free regions they may be used in outdoor landscaping.
Drought-tolerant and fire-resistant, it will endure desert sun and heat once established.

The creeping thistles (Cirsium arvense) are flowering everywhere right now. They are very popular among bees and butterflies but I had never seen a cricket on it before. This great green bush cricket didn't stay put for long as the bee was too annoying.
Yellow Robin - alert but not alarmed was posing for a while before spotting that tasty bug on the ground.

Smith's bush squirrel (Paraxerus cepapi), also known as the yellow-footed squirrel or tree squirrel, is an African bush squirrel which is native to woodlands of the southern Afrotropics.. Londolozi Game Reserve, South Africa. Conservation status: Least concern
Through the bush with flowers brazenly clinging nettle...
Thank you all for visits, faves and comments - greatly appreciated!
Euonymus alatus, with "burning bush" as one of the common English names, after God appeared to Moses in a bush that was apparently on fire, but not consumed. These plants are common ornamentals. You can see why.
Thank you for looking. Isn't God a great artist?
The speckled bush-cricket (Leptophyes punctatissima) is a flightless species of bush-cricket that occurs across most of Europe.
This is actually an old toothbrush.
I used a few yellow LED bulbs as background to create this photo to mimic bushes with a sunset background.
Well, that's the translation of what this bush is called in my language - Dutch. There is a variety where the flowers form round white balls, looking like snowballs. However, it flowers in early spring.
And they smell so good ...
Today was the last day of the hibiscus bush in front of my house. I'm re-landscaping around my house (that I bought last year), and the hibiscus was intergrown with another bush that I really didn't like. And the fact that I didn't really like the color (hence all the false color shots of hibiscus flowers) meant that it had to go. I had a moment of silence for it today, as I don't like to kill anything (and it seemed a really healthy bush). It will live on, though, as I took some cuttings last fall and at least one seems to be doing quite well. (For those curious about whether this shot looks familiar - yes, it's the same shot as Always Remember That Which Brought You Joy, but with different colors.)
I plan to get a new hibiscus. But this time I think I'll go with red.
Well, thanks for looking. And, as always, comments are always appreciated.
A bush spilling out from a suburban garden obscuring my view of the scaffolding surrounding the new house being built across the road.
The Lord’s creation is so full of detail! Giving all the beautiful colors of leaves in the Fall!❤️

On a wander through the bush near Caversham, Western Australia, I was hoping to capture some kangaroos (in the photographic sense of course). While quite easy to spot, they were difficult to photograph from a distance with the gear I had. Nevertheless, I was pleased to catch a fleeting rainbow that added some colour to the green treescape. Thanks for viewing.
