As usual, another night of star trails - but this time I wanted a blend of techniques in a single frame.
I added a bit of life to this abandoned Dodge bus using basic light-painting to bring out the interior glow and highlight the details.
The foreground (bus + landscape) is made from 8 stacked exposures to reduce noise:
ISO 800 / f/2.8 / 75 sec
The star trails are created from 1,200 photos, combined with StarStax:
ISO 800 / f/2.8 / 5 sec / 5 sec interval
In total, the sky exposure adds up to 3 hours and 20 minutes, until clouds finally rolled in and I had to stop shooting.

With Snow falling, Ipswich Buses ADL Enviro 200 pulls away from Stutton on the 0825 Ipswich to Manningtree 92 service. KY55 UNY (77) was vice the usual Optare Versa. I belive these are quite sure footed on snow covered roads.

Newly restored Greater Manchester Transport 4002, ANE2T, a Leyland Titan TN15, seen at the Manchester Museum of Transport, Boyle Street, at the SELNEC 40 event. Shiny!

A couple of buses sit on the forecourt of North Weald station on the Epping & Ongar railway during a photo shoot organised by EMRPS.
A New Flyer D60LF articulated bus of Long Beach Transit on Atlantic Avenue in Bixby Knolls. Note the old-style Carl's Jr. sign in the background.
Mercedes-Benz 709D/Plaxton, new to Nova-Scotia, seen in Stockport. Later had a much more scenic life on Holy Island in Northumberland.
...mais je suis tout de même arrivé jusqu'à Lishan, et il m'a même offert la course! Ici, au croisement des routes de cols, je m'apprêtais à monter dans ce bus.

Ipswich Buses 34 (YR61 RSV) a Scania Omnicity, operating a diverted 15 service along Princes Street, Ipswich.

Reading Buses have recently taken over running the Green Line 702 service from First Group. The service runs from Bracknell to London Victoria with some early morning and late evening services extending to Reading.
The route has seen a variety of different vehicle types used on the service including rebranded Alexander Dennis Enviro400 1208 GO11LDN from the Reading Buses fleet, seen near Heatherwood Hospital in February 2018. This bus was re-registered from SN11BRX in 2017.
On September 3rd 2018 Reading Buses relaunched their recently acquired former Stagecoach route 7 (Fleet-Reading) as the Tiger. It wasn't until September 24th that the first of what will be 2 rebranded buses appeared in service. Scania K270UB / Alexander Dennis Enviro300 B42F 414 YR13PMV 'John Vaughan' is seen in Fleet on its first day in service as a Tiger.
