I went to get a booster shot on a grayish December morning. Everybody present was of course wearing a mask. While waiting in line I caught the scene reflected on a silvery surface.

On a good day you might see 120,000 geese on the pond. Here is one group of about 10,000 taking off.

I was asked to photograph a company event at Burbank Airport, so with the opportunity to shoot planes, I reluctantly, or should I say enthusiastically, agreed.

 

A dozen Southwest Airlines jets feature state flag designs, like California, Texas and a few others, that wrap the entire aircraft. I was fortunate enough to capture Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-7H4 N214WN “Maryland One” barreling down the runway for takeoff.
