This cute little rabbit would come out of the brush into the grass and graze until a pedestrian came by, then dart back into the brush. I settled down to wait it out, and was rewarded with a few shots.

A simple and sweet portrait of a feeding bunny in our lawn. I think they have a nest under our large catmint bushes :)
The front bunny arrived on my property early last summer to graze in the meadow and soon began hunting for seeds by the birdfeeder. The squirrels always chased him away until he learned how to stand up to them. The second baby arrived six weeks later and kept trying to be friends, but the original bunny took a page from the squirrels and acted aggressively. This is the magic moment when they finally bonded and became companions.

At the moment I am studying at university and working at night, so I have very little free time.
Sometimes a cold shoulder for a portrait, but it is bunny time so for Gorgeous Green Thursday enjoy Peter Cottontail hopping away.
Taken in my parents garden, surrounded by a fence, which their mom somehow got through, and well, here they are!
I can't tell you, if this bunny will bring you some colourful Easter eggs. Alone, sheltered by the high grass it could stay there until Corona passed by.
So, if you wait, it could be better to stay at home, waiting for our tiny friend!

We saw the first neighborhood baby bunny of the season on April 24. They do look very vulnerable to anything with even the mildest of predatory inclinations. Today on our evening walk Mrs. Orca saw this one--which is somewhere closer to hamster than guinea pig sized--and joked that she'd like to pick it up and take it home. I did not try to pick it up, but I did decide to see how close I could get. The answer is about 18", close enough to grab it or--in this case--to take a photo with a cellphone.
