Búnker construido durante la Guerra Civil Española (1936) para proteger la zona rebelde de un posible ataque republicano. También se utilizó durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial ante un posible intento de invasión aliada en la zona. Más adelante se construyó una garita sobre el techo para la observación de aves.

Bunker Hill is one of those hollowed-out small towns that's found all over the US. With a population of less than 100 souls, it's barely hanging on. Surprisingly, the headquarters of Smoky Hills PBS is here, and you can see its reflection in the windows of this building.
The massive steel door of the WWII underground bunker of Bentley Priory, the headquarters of the Royal Airforce Fighter Command at the time of the Battle of Britain (1940). The bunker also played a role in Britain's nuclear defence strategy for a few decades but, in 2010, was finally decommissioned (and filled in). Leica M8, Elmar 50/2.8.

De bunkers in het Westduinpark hebben het zwaar te verduren. Deze zal binnenkort wel totaal instorten. De bunker die bovenop het duin stond ligt er al in duizend stukjes bij.
