Bulbfields. Tulips in full bloom, North Holland, The Netherlands.
An area to see tulips in the flower fields is the flower area Top of North Holland. The area stretches from everything north above Alkmaar towards all directions.
The Netherlands is home to thousands of hectares of tulip fields, spread across many different regions.
The Kop van Noord-Holland — the northern tip of the province — is actually the largest contiguous flower bulb region in the entire Netherlands. The towns of Anna Paulowna, Julianadorp, and Breezand are at the heart of this area, surrounded by vast fields that stretch to the horizon.

Bollenvelden in de kop van Noord Holland.
Tussen het dorpje Burgervlotbrug en het noordelijk gelegen Den Helder, strekt zich het grootste aaneengesloten bloembollengebied van het land uit. Hoe hoger je komt in het gebied, hoe imposanter. Over een lengte van maar liefst 20 kilometer word je omringd door een zee van kleurrijke bloeiende bloembollen. Ook verder landinwaarts richting de rustieke dorpjes Breezand en Anna Paulowna, vind je uitgestrekte velden vol tulpen, narcissen, alliums en hyacinten.
