CAPTAIN BUGGY:

Listen, stupid Luffy and Sanji.

I want the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. There's no further discussion about it. I protect you and the world from evil pirates. Besides, I think these seas should be mine because I am Captain Buggy.

I want to rule all the great seas in the world!

There are only three. You can keep the smaller oceans, provided I don't need them.

Be grateful to me.

I think I deserve a kindness award.

Captain Buggy, Luffy, and Sanji are characters from One Piece.

One Piece is a Japanese manga series

One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a funny young man whose body gains the properties of rubber after accidentally eating a devil fruit. With his diverse crew of pirates called the Straw Hats, Luffy explores the ocean in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as One Piece to become the next Pirate King. An Original Video Animation has also been made from the manga.

Many poorly performing products aren't the fault of engineers or designers but of conflicting requirements. The original design of the Aero Buggy was for a slick, aerodynamic vehicle which would cut through the vacuum of space in a fuel efficient manner. Then the requirement for it to climb the steep walls of lunar craters was added and so the "monster truck" style running gear was added.

Despite this, the Aero Buggy proved popular amongst spacemen. This was due to its smooth ride over rough terrain and its windscreen, which kept the moon dust off the driver.

It took me a few minutes to figure out what this was flapping like crazy through the weeds. I was difinitely spooked. Finally seen on the driveway--another cicada doing a last hurrah.

Mushrooms have been absent this year...but with the recent rain a few managed to pop up in the woods by my house. A tiny flying insect resting momentarily on the fungi cap.

One day we drove past a farmer riding a horse and buggy along the road. I was amazed, but couldn’t stop for a snap. Minutes later, I coincidentally took the wrong exit from a roundabout and we found ourselves trying to get unlost. Through sheer luck, suddenly the same buggy came over a hill. I had seconds to pull over the car and snap this through an open window - blew the framing, but good enough for jazz I suppose. I love to imagine a Portugal before internal combustion, when all those narrow twisty streets were built.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Seen at the Classic Car and Bike Meet at Earls Barton, Northamptonshire on 02 June 2021 is this 1972 FF Buggy.

Based on the chassis of a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle 1300 first registered in September 1972.

Don't worry, the buggy does not move very fast.
