17th May is Norway's constitution day, and a day of celebration. I hosted a lunch for my family and made a buffet table.
Questo è un buffet adorabile, perfetto per una festa di compleanno oppure per il tavolo dei bambini a un matrimonio. A me mette subito allegria, immagino già i bambini che brandiscono i leccalecca e impiastricciano tutti i vasi. Poveri i genitori che poi dovranno lavargli le mani per far sciogliere tutto quello zucchero!!!
It used to seem like Hometown Buffet or one of their other brands were everywhere. Now these restaurants seem to be getting much rarer. This strip mall still has a Hometown Buffet as of 2015!
The Consumer Square shopping center was built in 1988 and was originally anchored by a Cub Foods store. In 1991, a Target Greatland store was added to the shopping center. The Target Greatland is scheduled to close in January 2016 and the Cub Foods store has been a Kroger since 1997.

One thing that you will never hear passengers coming off the Sand Dollar dive boat saying - "I'm so hungry!" The prepare five full meals a day with snacks in between. No joke. Most of it is good old fashioned american comfort foods - pancakes, eggs, sauasage, hashbrowns, danishes, and muffins and fruit for the two early morning meals, chili, stew, roast chicken, chiken wings, burrito and taco night, spaghetti night, baked ham and mashed potatoes, etc, etc ,etc, etc
This nights dinner offered steak, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, garden salad, and steamed mixed vegetables (with choclate cake and rainbow sherbet for dessert later).
This is a slightly bigger version of the buffet that we'll have for our wedding. The food was very good.
