Church on the Spilled Blood, St Petersburg Russia

This is St Petersburg's most elaborate church, with a classic Russian Orthodox exterior and interior decorated with some 7000 sq meters of mosaics. Designed by architect AA Parland and the archimandrite Ignaty, the church incorporates elements of 18th-century Russian architecture from Moscow and Yaroslavl, and is so lavish it took 24 years to build and went over budget by 1 million roubles - en enormous sum for the times.

Hazel has been so careful with her wedding planning and expenses that she has come in under budget! She decided to use some of that extra money to splurge on a nice gift for her darling fiancé: a western-style jacket that he recently admired in a store window.

This Blythe doll is Hazel the Hedgehog with Ken for “Budget” and “Wedding season”. The idea for this picture came together easily because I just found this jacket for Ken at the antique mall, and I wanted to show it off! The background is a jigsaw puzzle.

This building was built when I wasn't even born yet. It managed to survive through the course of history including the Japanese invasion of Singapore. On the right background is The Pinnacle at Tanjong Pagar, one of Singapore's tallest and most expensive place to own.

About Keong Saik Street

Once a famous Red Light (prostitution) district of Singapore the area has now been conserved and converted into an entertainment district in Chinatown. The prostitution business has since shifted over to Geylang where it is still popular for those looking for some pleasure.
