this shot was taken at my work where its dirty, old, and decaying. it's very cool to shoot in the building and the industrial machien. here is one simple shot of the buckets/bins we use to hold parts after they are made. hope you enjoy! more images to come!
Hyannis, Cape Cod, MA, USA
Came across a guy crabbin' in a creek in Hyannis, who graciously allowed me to get a shot of his haul !
It was quite a rain storm we had last night, elevated by strong wind and accompanied by tons of lightning.
A cold front will sweep through our area this morning with strong northerly winds, it will leave the area feeling like winter for days!!! 😞
Thanks for stopping by; have a restful and relaxing weekend, dear photography friend!! 💕🌹
A group of wooden water buckets at Shirakumo shrine (白雲神社). Located in the Kyoto Imperial Palace grounds (Gosho). Medium format film scan.
A lone bucket in the middle of the sandy shoreline has not been touched for a long time as there are no tracks or evidence of human traces. Not as exciting as the "Utah Monolith" discovered in November :-)
The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the shot.
No comments today – just enjoy :-)
Happy Holiday's and have fun while you shop until you drop.

With a former BN SD40, L76 crosses the diamond with the I&O as they leave Lima for Findlay. Original to the 1941 upgrade of the interlocking, a NKP R2 still protects the crossing. While not an incredible shot, this has been a bucket list item for me for some time, as this job runs under the cover of darkness most of the year. Even in the summer it leaves when light is fleeting, making this a tricky shot to get. With so few NKP R2s still in service, I'm glad to have a presentable shot here.
What, you don't happen to have a bucket of rusty old rail spikes lying around?

"Den gamle by" ("The old town") is one of Aarhus major tourist attractions; an outdoors museum with city enviroments encompassing three centuries. During the Covid-19 the museum is open – no staff og attractions of course, but one is free to wander the area.

The second item on my bucket list - a bucket of bolts. According to www.urbandictionary.com, a bucket of bolts is a machine that is old, run-down, or worn out. I think this old truck qualifies!
I got lucky with the horse in the background too. He decided to cross the entire field to get into the photo. Have a great weekend everyone!
This photo was a pivotal photo for me. Even though it is not as excellent or as sharp of a photo that I wish, wish, wish that I had taken, I recognize that the experience itself will always be something that I will cherish. How many people can say that they spent a half hour with a Lynx in the wild?
I think that every photographer probably has a “bucket list” of photos they would like to achieve. I too, have realized that I just might have one as well. I would love to photograph the Aurora Borealis, a Lion, an Eagle with a fish, an Owl with it’s supper, Lightning streaking across the sky, BigFoot, (Yup, I think I saw it - but that is another story), a Whale breaching, a Puffin, a Cougar, a Wolf, another Fox (I don’t want to get greedy though), an enchanted forest, deep in the woods with a mist rolling in, and perhaps, a Polar Bear - though I think I am done with bears for a while…
Oh, and I want to drive across Canada and take an amazing landscape that represents each province.
Well, I guess that’s it - for now anyway. Gotta go. My battery is charged and I have so much to see and so little time to get it into my camera…
This was the first Mandarin Duck we had ever seen in the wild. Bucket list cha ching ! They were swimming with the other Wood Ducks at Elk Grove Regional Park. The 2 Mandarin males were swimming behind a couple of cute female Wood Ducks. They were courting the females by head bobbing. The adult male has a red bill, large white crescent above the eye and reddish face and "whiskers". The breast is purple with two vertical white bars, and the flanks ruddy, with two orange "sails" at the back.
