I had to tie the lid down with a piece of cord. The foam kept the lid raised. I don't think would be good to have these fill up with water on the drive. It is monsoon season out West. They have getting a lot of rain in Northern Arizona.

more playing around tonight and i did it the green way :) i recycled a dried rose and shot through some bubble wrap to soften the image. :)
I know I'm weird, but I couldn't help admiring the subtle patterns formed in the huge roll of bubblewrap in the packing room at work...
I wonder how long it would take to pop all those bubbles...
Campbell Plaster and Iron will do a rough cast for me. Then I'll take him home, clean him up and give him a patina.

I rolled the bundle almost an hour before opening it & turning the piece. Then, I rolled for close to another hour. I think the foot rolling for that length of time, made a big difference in how quickly the piece felted.

John wrapped my desk in bubblewrap, completely... I stopped in following my appt. with the orthopedist days after breaking my shoulder, and in honor of my visit, John went to task... Everything was wrapped in bubblewrap - my mouse, screen, corners of the desk, stapler, even the top of a soda bottle I had left sitting on the desk.
