For the Group "Crazy Tuesday" and theme of "Circles"
Always thought there were possibilities with bubble wrap!
Certainly lots of circles!
Went down to look in the 'cwtch dan star' (cupboard under the stairs) where we keep a box of possibly useful wrapping materials. In luck this time because I found a small envelope made of bubble wrap.
Using my favourites, bull-dog clips, I supported it vertically and then arranged a sheet of reflective paper as a background. A bit of messing with two lights and I had something I thought might, just might, be worthwhile.
No fancy camera, just the usual 'point & shoot' and a couple of photos taken.
A crop, some post-processing, and you see the result.
So another example of one person's rubbish is another person's treasure, and another example of 'KISS' - keep it simple, stupid.

She was too cute to pack up. Besides I need to keep a few dolls handy for the start of A Doll a Day 2009.
A close up of some of the 5mm bubbles in my bubble wrap packaging.
I placed a piece of paper behind the packaging and used my flash head at 1/4 power for f/36 aperture.
26th February 2020:
Stuck at home day and although the sun made an effort, it was *very* cold out and the grey clouds were banking up ... again.
Surfchild. had reminded me the other day that I had some bubble wrap in my oddment box, so I tried playing around with it. Came up with this which when I uploaded it onto the laptop, looked really creepy!
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
Any ideas?
It's actually a small piece of metallic-foil-backed bubble wrap that I found discarded on a dog walk. Focus stack of 17 images processed in Helicon Focus. Conversion to mono in Silver Efex Pro. Split-toning and cropping in Lightroom. HMM!

I love the weird catalogs that come in the mail. While we rarely buy anything from them, they're a source of unusual images that be captured by my iPhone and later used in creations like this.
The adult-size bubblewrap suit sells for $40 and is a real offering. The dinosaur lamps are something a grandkid might like.

Seems like a few of my Flickr friends have been posting pictures from May… What's up with that? Year-end cleaning or you don't like the weather?
Figured I'd make a splash too…
A bubble wrap shot from May, when I was up to my armpits in the stuff… seasonally adjusted.
And a BIG YIKES!… How did it get to be December already?

I decided to upload it on it's own because it's pretty different from the others.
Just playing about with my extension tubes, lensbaby and some bubble wrap.
