After removing the packing paper, we get our first view of the "Super Dollfie" box under the bubblewrap. I was a little surprised that it didn't have a picture on the front like the old standard boxes used to.

FREAKING MCFLY!
Goddddd I love this song. I love McFly.
Although, I didn't have enough to wrap my torso, so I guess it would be "I wish I could bubblewrap my head" instead of heart >_>
I would also like to mention that my favourite line of this entire song is, "Life's a bitch, and so are you." Hahah. Fletcher and Jones are genius. ((and adorable - for the record))
Bubble wrapping your head in a room that's already really hot sucks. My forehead was pretty sweated when I was done with this haha.
And I in no way think it's a good idea to wrap plastic around your head, so don't do it!
Today:
...Wow, what did I do today? Ummm... I read? I finished a book that SUCKED. And it was 400 and some pages long, and yet I finished it. But, hey, I finished Twilight, too, and this was definitely better than that shit. I only started reading this book because it mislead me to think it had something to do with Alice In Wonderland.
Anddd... I watched a lot of Psych. James Roday is so freaking hot, I can't even stand it. And he was wearing Chuck Taylors in one of the episodes, which I never noticed before... Purple ones.
Ah. The hottness.
My dog, Spencer, is named for "Shawn Spencer" if I've not mentioned that before.
Yeah... obsession.
Today was obsession day, I guess. McFly, Psych, and Alice.
Oh - Yesterday I drew this but I didn't put it on my computer until today. And I feel like sharing. It's all the females leads from my stories :P
You guys have only heard about Alex, Jolee, and most recently Lynnsey. So the rest will have to be a mystery for now (:
I recommend S.O.B.
(lol... SOB... "small on black," not "son of a bitch.")
I was helping my stepmom move into our house. She has a lot of breakables. And yes, we used up this whole roll.

This movie was created as part of the 48 Hour National Film Challenge. We basically were given a challenge to make a 4 to 8 minute movie from concept to completion in 48 hours. We were also given rules (so that we couldn't start filming ahead of schedule). Our rules were that we had include the following...
PROP: Bubblewrap
CHARACTER: Cheeks Easton
CHARACTER TRAIT: Impersonator
GENRE: Horror or Superhero
QUOTE: "It's Impossible Not To Look"
After 48 hours of hardcore movie making, we finished with a very successful piece. Are you ready to be "Spooked?"
Check out some great stills of the production at Vu Bui's Flickr Page
The amazing crew that worked on this film: Sandra E Soroka, Chris Cavallari, Leslie Grieselhuber, Sarah Kelly, Brandon LaGanke, Philip Robertson, Bill Cammack, Igor Rabovsky, Vu Bui, Jackson West, as well as myself, Rob Boudon.
Valentine's Day arrived Finland rather late and made the almanac in 1987. In Finland it's called Ystävänpäivä - Friend's Day. It's not so much about celebrating romantic love but friendship, too. This day doesn't play a big role in our family. I made my hubby a cup of coffee this morning before he got out of bed and gave him a heart shaped chocolate. :)
About this photo - My sister got a few dolls yesterday and one of them was wrapped in this pink heart shaped bubble wrap.

for the short trip to the site.
The colorful icy components are created here- the biggest deep freezer what needs defrostin' that God ever made.
Holy crap! When they call this Paintings Below Zero, they're not kidding!
It was COLD in there. like C O L D in there! Leo (left) and Kevin chided me for not having anything on my head. My head was fine. My digits, on the other hand, were simultaneously singing and numbed beyond usefulness within minutes.
I shot what I could and made my exit through the maze of hard-frozen pig parts.
Oh, I forgot to mention... This, of course, was a meat storage facility.
It featured the most, um... Fragrant Stairwell in the Universe.
Conjure an olfactory cocktail of "grease trap" and "wet dog" with a pinch of "fester" thrown in for measure and you'll start to get the idea.

Meet the newest Galaxy girl. . .
NOVA (Goldie)
I'm adding this picture to WAW, as I am pretty sure that's recycled bubble-wrap! Also, since I bought her used, the girl herself is recycled. New Year, new home, new life.
We are expanding our plastics black box kerbside collection to include the following 'flyaway' plastics:
• carrier bags
• polythene
• small clear food packaging - film and shrink wrap
• cling film
• bubblewrap
• compost bags
Flyaway plastics will need to be placed into a plastic bag (carrier bag or similar) inside the black recycling box.
Separating these materials from other plastics and items will prevent them from being able to blow around on bin day and help speed up collection times, as well as making it easier for the items to be sorted for reprocessing.
As well as 'flyaways', residents can continue to recycle other types of plastics including bottles, tubs, pots and food trays. These can be left loose in their black recycling boxes ideally placed in the same box as tin cans.
A wide range of other items can also be recycled as part of weekly black box collections, including paper and cardboard, tins and cans, newspapers and magazines, glass, textiles and shoes.
The collection of 'flyaways' is being run initially for a 3 month period. After this period the scheme will be evaluated and if it has proved successful will be continued on a permanent basis.
Residents using communal bins will be informed separately about how they can recycle flyaway plastics.
For more waste and recycling information visit www.westoxon.gov.uk/waste or call 01993 861025.

Some new gelli prints I made using minimal stuff. I used bubble wrap, a stamp, or a circular plastic canvas on a few, and the rest are just paint, no patterns. Wonderful for layering and collage! Love them!
Brick Lane, London. A girl in very high heels and immaculately turned out rides an old bicycle with several bags of bubble wrap. No idea why.
Phil Wieland kindly sent this photograph for publication.
Phil added: "Some new departure panels have been added at the concourse end, still wrapped in bubblewrap today."

Bubble wrap is my friend and hopefully it will do the job protecting camera and lenses in the boxes. Also. probably the last move of the year to sunny south of France . So good bye Newcastle for now maybe I will see you again one day:) Stay tuned for mountains and nature pictures, HDR of course:)

Don't worry, I'm not stressed, I didn't even need to stay at work late! And the evenings are getting lighter, yey!
Bubblewrap always reminds me of the episode of Red Dwarf when Lister patents the Tension Sheet.
My trackball replacement came in, and wouldn't you know, the box is the perfect size to ship a ferret back to the breeder! Or to anyone else who wants a free ferret.
I'm just kidding. Sammy Jay really did like the bubble wrap that came in the box (who doesn't?). This time around I'll make extra care to push my computer seat far away from the desk to prevent my precious trackball from getting destroyed again. Because NEXT time I might consider shipping her back if she does it again.
Over the past decade the importance of the environment and our need to take care of it has been a major trend across many industries. At Amplivox, we started asking ourselves what our part could be in caring for the environment and make quality sound systems at the same time? We started brainstorming and came up with a couple of different ways we can help out.
First, we said we need to make our podiums and lecterns more environmentally friendly. We looked into recycled particle-board and post-industrial wood residues. We then looked at urban and post-consumer recycled wood fibers. They are used within the Tafisa panel production mix, which enabled the recycled fibers to have extended life. The particle board was going to last longer and be environmentally friend. We knew we had to do it.
We also looked at our packing peanuts. Packing peanuts, right I know simple stuff. We were using new packing peanuts and it was costing the environment. We started looking into using recycled packing peanuts. In using recycled peanuts, we have been able to conserve energy and help cut down on waste.
All of our efforts have earned us a few certifications that we're pretty proud of. We are certified by Green Cross for our 100% recycled and recovered wood fibers for our lecterns and podiums. All of our products are also compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). These directives make sure that we do not have hazardous elements in our products and that we don't waste material in the process of making our products.
These accolades earned us a mention on the Forbes website, Yahoo! Finance, and MorningStar and several other mentions in local media outlets.
Don Roth, CEO of AmpliVox. -"Our lecterns and podiums are forest friendly—no trees were cut down to produce AmpliVox products. We believe that everyone can positively affect their impact upon the environment and we're dedicated to doing our part. We care about the world around us, so we have invested in products, people, and services that exemplify that concern. At AmpliVox, the quality of our products and the protection of our environment go hand-in-hand"
Yes, we are a sound systems company that prides itself on quality products but we also cares about the environment and making sure your voice is heard for years and years to come.
