Pop, Pop, Pop
Bubble wrap of course. I packed up the xbox today and sent it in. And since I couldn't think of anything better tonight (although I had an idea that I'm going to theme July as items on white with the reflection just so I have a consistent month... I just wasn't feeling like doing that tonight though :-p) So, bubble wrap on purple paper.
I shot one of my awesome friends in my mini home studio. This would be the first movie star that I have shot :)

Some people are blessed with gifts of mice from their beloved cats. My mouse is blessed with gifts of bubblewrap from my beloved cat. Eloh was fascinated when I showed her that her latest find made noise. I popped a few bubbles and she was so excited! She started stepping on the wrap herself, but wasn't heavy enough to pop any of them. For a moment I was a magician!
She also steals bottle caps, candy, sponges, dishes (yes dishes...silverware too). She doesn't give those items to the mouse, she just takes off with them or puts them in a neat little pile all for herself. Eloh has also been trying to open doorknobs. So glad we have the round kind! So glad she doesn't have Six's toes!! LOL! Oh Eloh how I love you.

Attacking bubble wrap packaging is a favorite game for this girl. She scrunches her nose up and works her front teeth along each line of poppers until she has managed to kill them all. Always under supervision, of course. She has no interest in eating it, she just wants to vanquish it.
If it's a big enough piece, we join in and help her pop the bubbles and it becomes a race to see who can kill the most the fastest. It's a messy game but strangely satisfying for all involved.
She's equally obsessed with the squeaks in her toys. They don't last very long either.

January 26 was "Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day." I just remembered I had a photo where bubble wrap was used as the "sea" for Ingmar's travel in my first "One Object 365 Day Project."

My brother-in-law has access to gobs of bubblewrap through his job. We're re-using it for greenhouse insulation. It has made a huge difference in holding warmth at night. I'll also be storing straw on the far wall you see in the picture which should add a good bit more insulation and thermal mass.
I took a picture of bubble wrap on my computer screen.
The themes this month have not come naturally for me!
I spent most of the morning working on a column and a survey in the dining room, and this was my view.

Generally, baskets make very nice box substitues when well-chosen, and their organic fibers enhance the absorbtion of unwanted vibes.

A futuristic short-eared Easter Bunny came to my place this morning. And posed for a picture.
On Sunday my younger son asked where babies came from, I told him in a non technical 5 year old appropriate way and he laughed at me and told me I was stupid .... okaay ... a few hours later and Sophie had shrouded herself in bubble wrap (as seen above) and the lad said 'That's where babies come from, a shop and they come in bubble wrap'.
Bless him :-)
I was helping my stepmom move into our house. She has a lot of breakables. And yes, we used up this whole roll.
