What is so wrong with sideways shots? For me as a photo-artist, I happen to like filling the shot with the subject more so than background space. For many of my shots, I will tilt it, and I think it enhances the look and feel of certain pictures. I'm not sure why some people associate it as meaning that the photo must be an ad if it's not perfectly straight instead of the tilt simply being artistic expression. Just my humble opinion :) Feel free to add your opinion as well to enlighten me.

After your kind words on my prior fungi image I decided to post another one. It is all about getting the right bokeh. This one was shot out of my hand, therefore I needed to stretch ISO. I like the dark wood and how the mushroom comes out, pretty amazing this breakthrough for such a fragile piece. Have a great day and many thanks for your visit!

BTW-the sign says "Drive Friendly-The Texas Way". People don't drive the Texas way on 635 in Dallas, or 35 in Austin.

Her hair is better than expected but she's missing about 4 eyelashes. Seller didn't mention that. In the description it was "all eyelashes". She's pretty anyway. :)
