Less basking, more huddling! These two male adders did their best to absorb the spring sunshine, separating their bodies and flattening them for maximum exposure, but repeatedly came together for a bit of a warming huddle. They were certainly aware of me, sitting quietly observing them, but happily didn't feel threatened.

Several weeks ago Matt returned from a weekend of bromancing in eastern Washington bearing a gift of vintage camera. Spotting this old Argus C3 in a junk shop, he decided to surprise me with it. Probably to ensure many kind words and head pettins after his long weekend of man fun. I, of course, happily accepted the bribe:)

I have worn both the scarf and hat within a day of each other. Seattle doesn't really know what it's doing in regards to the weather.
