'Choa.. Cough.. Erm, yes.. Testing.. Fraug, 1.. 2.. 3..
Oh, hello, garbage bags of Earth! This is Dr. El Fraug! I am a threat to your society! You shall send me $10,000 or I shall turn on my Dr. El Frauginators orbiting above your wasteland and enslave you! Muwhahaha- Ribbit'
'Tommy! Are you trying to destroy humanity again with your El Frauginator? I said that was mean!'
'FINE, MOM. I'M SORRY.'
We had a fabulous time at Public Service Broadcasting's last live show of their UK tour in Cambridge last night! Brilliant audio-visual mixed media presentation, great sound and a good mix of tracks from their four albums to date. As they came on , four guys dressed in identical white suits, and launched into LichtSpiel from their new "Berlin period" album, it was hard to remember that this was not Kraftwerk, but PSB! Indeed, PSB are doing now what Kraftwerk should have done ten years ago.
Being a bit of a laser junkie myself, I was sad not to see Aussie Floyd earlier this week, but PSB more than made up for it with a great light show.

Broadcasting Tower, Leeds
Architect: Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects (fcbstudios.com/work/view/broadcasting-place)
Built: 2010
Broadcasting Place is a striking mixed-use development close to Leeds city centre. A public/private partnership for property group Downing and Leeds Beckett University, it provides approximately 110,000 square feet of new offices and teaching spaces, and 240 student residences in a landmark building rising to some 23 storeys. A new Baptist Church completes the scheme.
An innovative approach has been taken in the design of each elevation. Using software the architects developed specifically for the project, they undertook a meticulous computational analysis of every single section of the façades. The result is a varied appearance that optimises daylight and reduces solar penetration.
Apparently Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and the rock formations of the yorkshire dales inspired the forms and faces of the Leeds Beckett University's Broadcasting Place.
